Perhaps one of the more embarrassing conditions a woman may face, stress urinary incontinence can manifest in women of all ages and health conditions. This condition can be caused by stress, childbirth, pregnancy, or aging, and is marked by an inability to fully control urination. Stress urinary incontinence can cause you to have urine leakage at any moment, including during sex. If you are experiencing problems of this nature, here are some signs that indicate a doctor’s assistance is needed:
You avoid social situations: Simple activities like laughing, coughing and sneezing can all trigger a response in the bladder. Therefore, you may not feel comfortable in most social settings because you cannot predict when problems will arise. Some women will choose to wear adult diapers or panty liners to minimize issues, but these solutions are typically just another source of embarrassment.
You avoid exercising: Exercise is an important part of maintaining your overall health, but when you are suffering from Stress Urinary Incontinence, exercising can be a struggle. If you’re avoiding exercising due to this condition, you could be putting your long-term health at risk.
Your work is suffering because of the condition: Stress urinary incontinence can also impede your working life. You may be unable to perform the duties necessary for your job, even simple tasks like sitting through a meeting. The anxiety caused by urinary incontinence can prevent you from feeling confident at work, which can affect your performance and opportunities for advancement.

Vaginal rejuvenation procedures continue to receive publicity as popularity among women continues to grow.
This video features a clip from The View explaining how laser vaginal rejuvenation works. This surgery is largely designed for women who suffer from vaginal relaxation, which is often caused by childbirth. The procedure restores tone, strength and control in these muscles for a enhanced sexual gratification, as well as practical and aesthetic gains. In spite of common misconceptions about the procedure, it is performed for the benefit of the patient, not her intimate partners.
G-spot amplification, or the G-Shot, is also presented as a less invasive procedure to enhance sexual gratification. In this clip, Dr. Matlock refers to it as a “lunch time procedure,” as it is simply an injection of collagen into the G-Spot, which functions to increase its sensitivity and accessibility. Contrary to the information provided in the video, a longer-lasting formula for the G-Shot has been developed, such that injections now last longer than the aforementioned 4 months! However, this procedure alone is not intended to fix vaginal relaxation, and can benefit all women.
If you want to learn more about the vaginal rejuvenation procedure or the G-Shot, schedule a consultation with Dr. Jason at the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of New York. Contact us online or call (516) 734-6418.
According to the National Association for Continence, approximately 200 million individuals worldwide suffer from urinary incontinence. In addition, studies show that more than 30 million women in the United States suffer from stress urinary incontinence—also known as bladder leakage. Fortunately, vaginal surgery can often provide relief for women suffering from urinary incontinence.
There are several different types of urinary incontinence, including:
Stress incontinence: This form of incontinence is characterized by the leakage of small amounts of urine during physical movement, including coughing, sneezing, and exercising. Stress incontinence can be caused by pregnancy, childbirth, age, obesity, menopause, or having a hysterectomy.
Urge incontinence: Urge incontinence is characterized by the leakage of large amounts of urine at unexpected times. Urge incontinence may be caused by overactive bladder syndrome, cystitis, and problems affecting the central nervous system.
Overflow incontinence: Women with overflow incontinence experience the leakage of small amounts of urine due to a full bladder. Overflow incontinence may be caused by urinary stones, constipation, or possible tumors.
There are several factors that may increase your risk for developing urinary incontinence, such as obesity, increasing age, and smoking. Certain conditions, including diabetes and kidney disease, may also increase the risk for urinary incontinence. Additionally, a recent study published in Obstetrics and Gynecology revealed that vitamin D deficiency increases the risk of pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary incontinence. This study demonstrated that vitamin D supports a number of important bodily functions, including the maintenance of muscle and bone. For this reason, individuals with vitamin D deficiency may suffer from a weakened pelvic floor infrastructure, increasing their risks of urinary incontinence.

I have to disagree with most of the other posts. As a 28 year old woman, I have been to other doctors before I discovered Dr.Jason, and thank god I did. He is truely the best, most knowledgable, caring doctor and so are his staff. I had a labiaplasty about a year ago and it was the best thing I ever bought myself. I was unsure what to expect...
